Personal evaluation of a private, device-first writing app.

## Your words and decisions

You retain responsibility for what you write, export, import, keep, or delete. Journal provides a private writing tool and does not review an entry before you rely on or share an exported copy.

## Beta software

The app is an internal TestFlight beta and may change, stop working, or lose beta access. Keep a verified export of any writing you cannot afford to lose.

## No professional service

Prompts and future reflection ideas are not therapy, medical care, diagnosis, or a guarantee of wellbeing. Do not use Journal for emergencies or to replace qualified help.

## Product boundaries

- Entries have no public visibility or publishing route
- No streak, point, mood score, diagnosis, therapy, or AI interpretation
- Account sync is optional and does not replace the local archive
- No public TestFlight invitation or App Store release
- Current source targets iPhone; an iPad release is not claimed
